Who: Peddlars & Co.
Why: Fantastic atmosphere and amazing creations from chef Brad Ball.
Brad Ball, previously from the renowned Bistro 1682, has turned his attention to Pedlars & Co and has transformed it into a space that caters for all, with Volare being the standout gem.
We sampled a dish off the three course menu and each was more indulgent than the next. The truffle balls, to the lamb dish and delicately cooked and flavoured linefish were incredible and we thought it couldn’t get any better, that was until dessert arrived..
Dessert included one of the most decadent and sinful chocolate tarts I have had in a very long time, so much so that I couldn’t finish my half, an extraordinarily rare feat! The other highlight was the pecan nut tart and caramel ice cream. Light, dreamy and oh so delicate, it was another one to have on my next trip.
Overall, Volare offers a fantastic atmosphere, outstanding food and is a must try when ever you are in the area!
